Access to the event
The access to the event is subject to the daily valid regulations of the Corona Protection Ordinance. It’s the responsability of each participants to meet the requirements for participation. Currently, tier one (base level) is in place and access and participation is only possible for:
- Recovered: a medical certificate stating that Covid-19 infection (confirmed via PCR test) occurred at least 28 days and no more than 6 months ago
- Vaccinated: proof of full vaccination protection by means of vaccination documentation
- Tested: daily negative COVID-19 rapid test. The test must be done at a doctor’s office, pharmacy, or official citizen testing center and must be no more than 24 hours old. The test result must be certified in printed or digital form. Self-tests are not valid.
Proof of vaccination or recovery must be shown at the first day of the event when checking in. Non-vaccinated or non-recovered participants must show proof of negative COVID-19 rapid test to MAratango staff at the registration desk AT THE BEGINNING of EACH event day without delay and without any request to do so.
The closest “Schnelltest-Zentrum” is in ~ 10 min walking distance at Schnelltest-Zentrum Mannheim, Fardelystr. 1
At the warning level, non-vaccinated or non-recovered participants must show proof of a negative COVID PCR test which is valid 48hs.
At the alarm level, non-vaccinated or non-recovered participants are not allowed to particpate in the marathon!
The up-to-date hospitalisation and infection rates and which level (base, warning, alarm) is currently applied, can be checked at “aktuelle Infektionen BaWü“.
Medical mouth and nose protection
There is an obligation to wear a medical mouth and nose protection on all traffic routes within the building, in corridors, staircases as well as on the way going to the toilet. It can be taken off during dance practice. Medical mouth and nose protection is defined as surgical masks (preferably certified according to DIN EN 14683:2019-10) or respiratory protection that meets the requirements of standards FFP2 (DIN EN 149:2001), KN95, N95 or a comparable standard.
Only healthy dancing
Participants who show symptoms of respiratory tract infection or increased temperature or who have had contact with a person infected with SARS-CoV-2 are not allowed to enter the event facility and are not allowed to participate in the event.
